Course Resetting
Dear Teacher,
It is encouraged that you reset your Moodle
course prior to the beginning of the new semester. This process
will enable you to remove previous/old students data including
their discussions posts, assignment submissions, quiz scores,
etc.. However, course activities, uploaded course materials and
other relevant course settings will be retained.

please refer to the procedures below

إعادة تثبيت (تهيئة) المقرارات
أعزائنا المدرسين

انتباهكم إلى أهمية القيام بعملية إعادة تهيئة مقرراتكم قبل بداية
الفصل الدراسي الجديد؛ حيث ان هذه العملية تهدف إلى جعل مقرراتكم
خالية من قوائم الطلبة من الفصل السابق، وذلك عن طريق حذف الطلبة
المسجلة أسمائهم في مقرراتكم، بالإضافة إلى حذف كل الدرجات وجميع
مشاركاتهم في ساحات النقاش وملفات الواجبات والبحوث التي تم
تسليمها خلال الفصل إلكترونيا. كما يرجى ملاحظة أن هذه العملية من
شانها الإبقاء على كل الملفات التي قام المدرس بتصميمها ورفعها إلى
المودل خلال الفصول السابقة وعدم المساس بأي من إعدادت المقرر.
للقيام بهذا، يمكنكم استخدام الإعدادت الإفتراضية لهذه
العملية وذلك عبر اتباع أربع خطوات سهلة

Log on to
Moodle and click on the course you wish to reset.

Within the “Administration”
block, click on “Reset”.

Scroll down until you reach the bottom of the page. Click on “Select default”
button.

Finally, click on “Reset course” button.
You can click any ";Show
Advanced" button to show all options for that category, which
will give you the ability to custom your reset action for your
course.
